Do’s & Don’ts

Do:
• Provide clear references and character details.
• Give feedback during the revision stage after the first payment.
• Respect the artist’s workflow and estimated completion times.Don’t:
• Request adult or sexually explicit content.
• Request fully furry characters.
• Request highly mechanical or complex machinery.
• Request artworks with political themes, hate speech, or other highly controversial content.
• Share or sell the artwork for commercial purposes without explicit permission.

Terms of Service (TOS)

By commissioning artwork from CosmicKatie, clients agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Usage Rights
Clients receive a personal use license for commissioned artwork. This allows the artwork to be used for private purposes such as social media, personal content, and profile pictures. Commercial use, including selling, merchandising, or redistribution, is not included unless specifically agreed upon in writing. CosmicKatie retains full copyright ownership of all commissioned work. By commissioning, clients agree that CosmicKatie may post the artwork publicly for portfolio, social media, or promotional purposes.2. Payment & Workflow
Payment is accepted via gift cards only, and all payments must be in euros (EUR). Clients are responsible for ensuring the gift card they provide is valid and usable in euros. Payment issues due to invalid or incompatible gift cards are not grounds for a refund.Standard commissions follow this workflow:
1. Rough sketch is sent for concept approval.
2. First payment (50%) is made after approval of the rough sketch.
3. Progress updates are provided; clients may request revisions during this stage.
4. Final artwork is delivered in low resolution, with watermark.
5. Remaining 50% is paid after the low resolution final artwork is delivered.
6. Final artwork is delivered in full resolution, unwatermarked.For small commissions or cases where split payments are not possible, full payment upfront may be requested. In these cases, a rough sketch will still be sent for approval before the final artwork is completed.3. Revisions
Clients may request adjustments during the progress stage, after the first payment. Revisions are intended for correcting or adjusting the artwork according to the original commission concept. Major concept changes after the rough sketch stage may require additional payment. Revisions are not available after the final artwork has been delivered.4. Refund Policy
Refunds are not available once work has begun, including after the rough sketch stage. Clients are responsible for ensuring their gift card is valid and usable in euros. Refunds may be considered only in exceptional cases, at the discretion of CosmicKatie.5. Communication & Response Time
Clients can expect a response to inquiries within 10 business days. Progress updates are provided regularly after the first payment. Clear communication regarding references, character details, and approvals is required to ensure timely completion of commissions.
